The Business of Design Week in Hong Kong is Asia’s most important design conference. The Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs/EVD organised a trade mission to match the Dutch creative industry to the Asian market. To illustrate the Dutch Design approach, we designed the Holland Pavilion along the concept ‘Enter the Mind of the Dutch Designer’. On the outside of the booth (mind) various icons of Dutch designs were on display. On the inside sketches, video’s and models were on display to give an insight about the design processes. The trade mission became the biggest in Dutch history with over 300 Dutch creative professionals.
